The BHR Summit is important because it provides a space for Black women and girls to talk about mental health without shame or stigma. The event also provides resources and tools that can help Black women and girls take care of their mental health.
Mental health is an important issue for everyone, but it is especially important for Black women and girls. Black women are more likely to experience mental health challenges than white women. They are also less likely to seek help for mental health problems.
The BHR Summit is an opportunity to break down the barriers that prevent Black women and girls from accessing mental health care. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the strength and resilience of Black women and girls.
There are many ways to get involved in the BHR Summit. You can register to attend the event, volunteer your time, or donate to BEAM.
If you are unable to attend the event, you can still get involved by following BEAM on social media and sharing information about the summit with your friends and family. You can also learn more about BEAM’s work by visiting their website at https://remix.beam.community.
