Jalen Uboh champions disciplined vision, practical strategy, and generational empowerment-showing entrepreneurs how to turn legacy, relationships, and clear direction into sustainable success.
In every room he enters – from Georgia boardrooms to national business conferences – Jalen Uboh carries a message rooted in discipline, legacy, and practical pathways to wealth. A government contracting expert and rising business leader, Uboh is quickly becoming one of the most influential voices shaping how Black entrepreneurs think about success.
His story begins on ancestral ground: his family recently purchased the Mississippi plantation where their ancestors were once enslaved. For Uboh, that moment wasn’t just symbolic-it was a generational turning point. “It’s a different mindset,” he says. “Some of our people are still thinking like it’s sharecropping days. But when you see what’s possible, everything changes.”
At the recent Southern Black Chamber of Commerce Expo, Uboh shifted his talk from government procurement to the deeper foundation every entrepreneur needs-discipline. Vision, he says, is only the starting point. Many people are trying to reach big goals using the wrong “vehicle,” relying on outdated business models or small-thinking strategies that can never take them where they hope to go.
Uboh also teaches the power of social capital, showing entrepreneurs how to move beyond simply
“being in the room” to actually capitalizing on relationships, organizing resources, and creating collaborative opportunities.
Now poised to inherit and steward the legacy of business titan Dr. George C. Fraser, Uboh is expanding his mission: equipping entrepreneurs with practical tools, global perspective, and disciplined preparation.
“We win when our people win,” he says. “And our people win when they understand what’s possible-and how to get there.”
