In 2008, I was diagnosed with hypertension, more than 3,000 miles away from my family. New culture, friends, and eating a poor diet caused hypertension. Changes had to be made in order to be a healthier person. My diagnosis helped me decide that I needed to change my diet and exercise so that I could live a healthier, happier life.
When I realized how amazing I felt and how much healthier I was from changing my diet and regularly exercising, I wanted to motivate others to do the same and prevent health issues from developing. That’s how ‘Get It Right’ was born. I use sounds that fuse original hip-hop tracks with motivational lyrics to help you get into shape and keep you motivated.
We all can avoid many health issues if we are motivated and encouraged to get in shape with the help of music and motivational lyrics. My goal is to inspire people to get in shape, and stay in shape. I want someone to look at me and say, “Because of you I was motivated to never give up.”
