Dr. Kelly McCants redefines work-life balance at his Atlanta-based wine and cigar bar

When Dr. Kelly McCants isn’t spending time with family, and friends or working his day job as a cardiovascular disease specialist, he enjoys cigars “in moderation of course” at Wine Me Down, his Alpharetta, Georgia-located wine and cigar bar.
Dr. McCants is known for his expertise in heart failure and transplant cardiology. He is affiliated with several hospitals in Atlanta and Louisville. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and his heart failure and transplant fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University in New York City.
When his busy schedule allows him to get away, McCants can be found at what could be considered an upscale man cave that’s open to the public. Wine Me Down offers a variety of wines, cocktails, cigars, premium hookah, and a Louisiana-inspired cuisine from Favors & Flavors, a Cajun restaurant he also owns a few doors down. Wine Me Down has a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere that has won over many fans. The bar has been praised for its excellent service and music.
