About Juneteenth
Juneteenth is a holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It is celebrated on June 19th, which is the day that news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached Texas in 1865. Juneteenth is a time to celebrate Black culture and history, and to reflect on the progress that has been made since slavery ended.
We hope you will join us for this special event to celebrate Black culture and history!
